The 2015 Equinox's Design
The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is an impressive contender in the mid-size crossover segment. It has the same platform as the GMC Terrain and shares a general aesthetic with both the Chevy Traverse and the latest Malibu. The interior features a dual-cockpit design, ice-blue ambient lighting and sophisticated, classy appearance touches that makes it look much more expensive than it is. The base LS trim offers cloth upholstery, sliding rear seats and audio controls on the steering wheel. As far as infotainment, it also comes standard with Bluetooth, a six-speaker sound system and an auxiliary audio jack. The top LTZ trim includes leather upholstery, automatic headlights, rear parking sensors, a power liftgate and forward collision warning. To top it all off, all trims feature four-wheel disc brakes, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, head-curtain side airbags and pelvic/thorax seat-mounted bags. Put all these features together and you've got one great small crossover on your hands.
